At Chroma Technique, accessible from https://chroma-technique.com, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This privacy policy describes the information we collect, why we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights. It is established in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (Informatique et Libertés).

2. Information we collect
What you send us
When you fill in the contact or quote request form, or when you write to us or call us, we collect the information you choose to give us, such as:
- Full name
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Company and job title
- Description of your event (type, date, venue, number of participants, budget) and your message
Mandatory fields are marked in the form. Without them, we cannot reply to your request.
Audience measurement
We measure traffic on the site with Umami, a tool that does not set any cookie and does not retain any data that could identify you. It records aggregated information, such as:
- Pages visited and time spent on the site
- Website or search engine you come from
- Type of browser, system and device
- Country or region, inferred from the IP address, which is not stored
3. How we use your information
We use this information to:
- Reply to your request and prepare a quote: legal basis, pre-contractual measures taken at your request.
- Perform and follow up the service if you become a client: legal basis, performance of the contract.
- Handle commercial follow-up of our exchanges and contact you again about your project: legal basis, our legitimate interest in developing our business with professionals.
- Send you information about our services, only if you have agreed: legal basis, your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Measure and improve site traffic: legal basis, our legitimate interest; no personal data is retained.
- Meet our legal obligations, in particular accounting and tax obligations.
We do not sell, exchange or rent your personal information.
4. Sharing your information
Only the people at Chroma Technique in charge of your request have access to your information. We also use technical providers who process it on our behalf, on our instructions and under a confidentiality commitment:
- Tally (Tally BV, Belgium): contact and quote request form.
- Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., United States): hosting and security of the site.
- Umami: audience measurement with no personal data.
- Our email service, for exchanges by email.
We may also disclose your information if the law requires it, or if it is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of the site's users. If we were involved in a merger, an acquisition or a sale of assets, your information could be transferred as part of that transaction.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers are established outside the European Union. For the United States, transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework to which Cloudflare adheres, or failing that on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
6. Retention period
- Contact or quote request with no follow-up: 3 years from our last exchange.
- Clients: throughout the commercial relationship, then 3 years from the last service for commercial follow-up.
- Invoices and accounting records: 10 years, as required by the French Commercial Code.
- Audience measurement: aggregated statistics only, with no personal data.
- Cookies and other trackers: 13 months at most, in line with the CNIL's recommendations.
7. Security of your information
We implement appropriate security measures: encrypted connection (HTTPS), access restricted to authorised persons, and providers chosen for their security guarantees. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or of electronic storage is entirely secure: we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
You have the following rights over your personal data:
- Access: obtain confirmation that we hold data about you, and receive a copy of it.
- Rectification: have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected.
- Erasure: request the deletion of your data, subject to our legal obligations.
- Restriction of processing: ask us to suspend the use of your data.
- Portability: receive the data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used format.
- Objection: object at any time to commercial follow-up and marketing.
- Withdrawal of consent, where processing is based on it, at any time.
- Post-mortem directives: define what happens to your data after your death.
To exercise these rights, write to us at [email protected] or at 44 quai de Polangis, 94340 Joinville-le-Pont. We reply within one month. If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
9. Cookies
The site does not set any advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies. Audience measurement, provided by Umami, does not set any cookie: it therefore does not ask for your consent. The contact form, provided by Tally, may set the technical cookies needed for it to work, which are exempt from consent. If we were ever to add cookies that require your agreement, we would ask for it beforehand, and these cookies would be kept for 13 months at most.
You can configure your browser to refuse cookies or to warn you when they are set. Some parts of the site, such as the form, might then no longer work properly.
10. Links to other sites
Our site may contain links to sites that we do not operate. If you click on a third-party link, you will be taken to that site. We advise you to read the privacy policy of each site you visit.
11. Changes to the privacy policy
We may update this policy at any time. Any change is published on this page with its update date.
