For your conventions: Palais des Congrès de la Porte Maillot, Pavillon Porte de Versailles, Halle de la Villette. For your evening events: Élysée Montmartre, Musée des Arts Forains, Seine Musicale or the salons of private mansions in the 8th arrondissement. For more exclusive formats: private barges on the Seine and Paris rooftops.

These venues require tailored preparation. At the Théâtre national de Chaillot, at the Trocadéro facing the Eiffel Tower, rigging and carpet laying are limited, electrical power is constrained, and access and delivery slots are regulated. Build and de-rig therefore take longer. We factor in these heritage constraints from the scoping stage to guarantee an optimal attendee experience, with no unpleasant surprises on show day.

Areas of expertise

The expertise available in Paris

Beyond the overall organisation of your event, each of our areas of expertise is available à la carte, to support your team or under full management: technical direction, sound, lighting and video, as well as art direction, graphic design, video creation and scenography.

Each assignment is modular: a single area or the full package. We can also help you identify a venue, but we do not book it on your behalf, and we do not organise accommodation or transport for attendees: Chroma is not a travel agency.

Our process for your events in Paris

A rigorous five-step process to turn your objectives into concrete reality.

  1. Stage and audience at a Chroma corporate event

    Project scoping

We analyse your business objectives and define the brief. This phase includes assessing the constraints specific to Paris and Île-de-France.

    • Detailed brief
    • Assessment of local constraints (low-emission zone, access, safety)
    • Shortlist of relevant venues
365 to 90 days before, depending on scale
  2. Plenary session fitted with a Chroma audiovisual set-up

    Tailored technical design

Our technical architects develop a suitable audiovisual running order. We select the most relevant Île-de-France venues and partners for your format.

    • Costed audiovisual running order
    • Floor plans and runs
    • Venue and supplier approval
    120 to 45 days before
  3. Corporate convention with scenography and lighting

    Coordination and logistical planning

We handle pre-event logistics and floor plans. This careful preparation secures the work of every supplier.

    • Floor plans and calculation notes
    • Supplier coordination and low-emission-zone fleet
    • Technical rehearsals
90 to 7 days before · including ~3 months for the prefecture
  4. Congress in progress with an audiovisual control room

Event Production Management on show day

Our team handles on-site orchestration and the real-time management of the unexpected. A single point of contact runs the entire technical set-up.

    • Overall technical management
    • Single point of contact on site
    • Real-time handling of the unexpected
On site from the day before to the day after
  5. Gala evening lit in a reception hall

    Post-event follow-up

We produce a full debrief to measure the impact of the event. The audiovisual deliverables are handed over to extend the life of your event.

    • Immediate on-site debrief at the end of the event
    • Delivery of recorded content
    • ROI summary and areas for improvement
Structured report within ~2 months, depending on scale

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Practical answers for organising your professional event in Paris and Île-de-France.

Does the quote cover access and Paris logistical constraints?

Delivery, unloading, technical parking, but also physical constraints (ceiling heights, door sizes, goods lifts, floor loading) must be visible at the scoping stage, not discovered a week before the event.

Organising events in Paris requires specific expertise that we master:

  • Urban logistics: traffic plans, delivery slots, unloading areas.
  • Technical parking: reservation of spaces for trucks and technical vehicles.
  • Low-emission zone: a Crit'Air-compliant fleet for the whole of Greater Paris.

Our in-depth knowledge of the Paris terrain guarantees smooth logistics with no surprises on the day of your event.

Who runs the technical side?

A single point of contact reduces back-and-forth between the venue, the client, the suppliers and the on-site teams.

Is safety included?

Safety obligations and operating rules are not optional: they are mandatory, under employment law and for everyone's safety. We build them into the scoping from the outset, and security can be entrusted to specialist suppliers from our network.

What happens if the plan changes?

The set-up must plan for trade-offs, alternatives and responsibilities on show day.

Which Paris arrondissements and Île-de-France départements do you cover?

Our event agency covers the whole of Île-de-France, with particular expertise in:

  • Central Paris: all arrondissements from the 1st to the 20th.
  • Inner suburbs: Hauts-de-Seine (92), Seine-Saint-Denis (93), Val-de-Marne (94).
  • Outer suburbs: Yvelines (78) for countryside seminars, Val-d'Oise (95) near Roissy.

This geographical coverage gives us access to the best venues and full command of the logistical specifics of each area.

What is the minimum lead time to organise an event in Paris?

The lead time depends mainly on the format and public exposure. As a guide:

  • Cocktail reception, meeting or small format: 1 to 2 weeks minimum.
  • Corporate seminar or convention (≈300 people): 1 to 2 months, depending on urgency.
  • Gala evening or large event: 2 to 3 months advised.
  • Public or outdoor event: around 6 months.
  • Very large congress or trade show (1,500+ visitors): 1 year minimum.

The more public the project, the heavier the regulatory side: that, not the equipment, sets the lead time. We also handle urgent requests by drawing on our Paris network.

Do you handle evening and weekend events?

Our teams are available 7 days a week to fit your schedule. This full flexibility allows us to organise your events at the most suitable time for your company, with the same quality of service.

Which venues do you recommend for a large congress in Paris?

Depending on the format and attendance, we point you towards different options:

  • Very large formats: Palais des Congrès Porte Maillot, Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.
  • Mid-sized formats: Carrousel du Louvre, Cité des Sciences, Concorde Lafayette or Hyatt Étoile hotels.
  • Premium formats: private mansions in the Triangle d'Or, Pavillons des Champs-Élysées.

Our knowledge of Paris venues guarantees technical feasibility and consistency with your image. Our dedicated page on congress organisation in Paris covers the congress centres and our method.

Do you help put together sponsorship proposals?

Yes. When partner funding is being considered, we help structure the sponsorship proposal and build tiered visibility packages (levels 1, 2 and 3) to offer in exchange for funding.

Each package is calibrated to the benefits that can actually be delivered at the event (signage, speaking slots, dedicated spaces, video recording), so that the proposal remains credible to sponsors and consistent with your technical set-up.
