Project scoping
We analyse your business objectives and define the brief. This phase includes assessing the constraints specific to the Nice metropolitan area.

- Assessment of local constraints
- Shortlist of relevant venues
Chroma Technique produces your seminars, conventions and gala evenings in Nice and across the Côte d'Azur. With a venue offer in flux, we scope the site, the technology, access and safety requirements to design a set-up suited to your event. This project scoping aligns decisions before the build.
Belle Époque landmark on the Promenade des Anglais · Salon Royal: 380 banquet / 550 cocktail.
Exceptional venue: technical site visit and discretion required.
Listed gardens, view over the bay of Villefranche · Exclusive hire from €25,000 excl. VAT.
Heritage site: restricted access, site visit mandatory.
12 hospitality lounges · 2,500-space car park, west of Nice.
Large crowds: security, ticketing and circulation to be scoped.
Listed Art Deco façade, sea view · Integrated casino, seafront.
City centre: low-emission-zone delivery slots to be anticipated.
Italian-style auditorium with 1,083 seats · Foyers for prestige cocktail receptions.
Historic venue: rigging and build regulated.
For your galas: Hôtel Negresco (380 guests for a banquet, 550 for a cocktail reception), the Hyatt Regency Palais de la Méditerranée with its listed Art Deco façade, or the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat (230 guests outdoors, private hire from €25,000 excl. VAT). For your conventions: Opéra de Nice (1,083 seats), Allianz Riviera (35,000 seats, 12 lounges), Le Méridien on the seafront or the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, 35–45 minutes away via the A8. For exclusive formats: the rooftop terrace of the MAMAC and yachts in Port Lympia.
The Belle Époque villas Ephrussi and Masséna require a technical site visit: protected gardens, staircases and heritage constraints. In Vieux-Nice, the low-emission zone and pedestrian area require early-morning deliveries (6am–11am depending on the sector) and a weight-limit exemption from the Métropole for heavy goods vehicles. We factor in these constraints from the scoping stage for an optimal attendee experience, with no unpleasant surprises.
Beyond the overall organisation of your event, each of our areas of expertise is available à la carte, to support your team or under full management: technical direction, sound, lighting and video, as well as art direction, graphic design, video creation and scenography.
Each assignment is modular: a single area or the full package. We can also help you identify a venue, but we do not book it on your behalf, and we do not organise accommodation or transport for attendees: Chroma is not a travel agency.
Venue, access, safety, technology: we check the sensitive points before quoting, to avoid late trade-offs, grey areas and show-day blockages.

A rigorous five-step process to turn your objectives into concrete reality.
We analyse your business objectives and define the brief. This phase includes assessing the constraints specific to the Nice metropolitan area.
Our technical architects develop a suitable audiovisual running order. We select the most relevant local venues and partners for your format.
We handle pre-event logistics and floor plans. This careful preparation secures the work of every supplier.
Our team handles on-site orchestration and the real-time management of the unexpected. A single point of contact runs the entire technical set-up.
We produce a full debrief to measure the impact of the event. The audiovisual deliverables are handed over to extend the life of your event.
A single point of contact, venues we know in Nice and Cannes, and a team on hand until the debrief: concrete guarantees for your event on the Côte d'Azur.
Our experience with Chroma Technique was absolutely perfect. Communication was clear and proactive. Juhel Sangla helped us create an exceptional event by providing lighting, decoration, projection and sound services. A real pleasure to work with professionals. We highly recommend them!
Juhel and Tanguy put me at ease and supported me throughout my project. A big thank you to them and their team.
A wonderful experience. A professional team that does quality work. Highly recommended.
Many Nice projects extend beyond the city: a convention that starts in Paris, an evening that continues in Monaco. Our other locations cover these moves with the same technical direction.
Practical answers for organising your professional event on the Côte d'Azur.
Delivery, unloading, technical parking, but also physical constraints (ceiling heights, door sizes, goods lifts, floor loading) must be visible at the scoping stage, not discovered a week before the event.
A single point of contact reduces back-and-forth between the venue, the client, the suppliers and the on-site teams.
Safety obligations and operating rules are not optional: they are mandatory, under employment law and for everyone's safety. We build them into the scoping from the outset, and security can be entrusted to specialist suppliers from our network.
The set-up must plan for trade-offs, alternatives and responsibilities on show day.
Our event agency works along the entire Riviera coastline, with targeted expertise in:
This local presence allows us to deploy our teams and equipment quickly.
During this transition period (2024-2027), we adapt our recommendations:
Two new facilities will take over: the new Palais des Arts et de la Culture (opening 2026) and the future Parc des Congrès at the MIN (2026-27). The former Acropolis site is being converted into an 8-hectare urban forest. Our knowledge of local alternatives guarantees the feasibility of your major plenary sessions.
Urban logistics in Nice require rigorous preparation, which we master:
This logistical planning ensures a smooth technical build without delays.
Use of the public seafront is subject to strict regulations:
These procedures are handled by the organiser and specialist providers: we build their lead times and constraints into the technical schedule.
To optimise your budget and secure venue availability, we keep an eye on seasonality:
Our advice helps you target the best dates for your professional gathering.
Yes. Nice is an international destination (more than 15 million passengers at the airport, a strong European and North American clientele). Our technical teams and production managers work in French and English, and we draw on many Italian-speaking suppliers thanks to the proximity of Liguria.
Our main role is technical: audiovisual production, control, coordination of technical suppliers and securing the set-up. We can work with your agency, your venue or your local suppliers.
Depending on the project, Chroma can coordinate sound, lighting, video recording, streaming, Event Production Management, speaker support and interfaces with the venue.
